Tudor House community events return


NEW FRANKLIN – The Tudor House, located at 655 Latham Lane, will once again host community events on its Turkeyfoot Lake property.
“We were so ready to welcome the community back to Tudor House this year after a year of sadly canceled events, and from the turnout rates we’ve seen so far, the community was ready to come back as well. “said the mayor of New Franklin. Paul Adamson, referring to the Summer Launch Event, the Sail Into Summer Craft & Sale Fair, pictured above, and the first of three “Movies and Music on the Lawn” events, pictured below.
Events will continue with the Old Fashioned Fourth of July Picnic, which takes place on July 4th from noon to 4 pm and will feature the “Keyed Up” barber quartet, a baking contest, a bounce house. , bag races and tug-of-war. -war, food trucks and beer and other beverages available for purchase. To enter the baking contest, register by emailing [email protected] or calling 330-882-4324.
These “Movies and music on the lawn” events are also planned:
• July 13, The Passtime Band;
• July 27, “Cool Running”;
• August 10, “Doolittle”; and
• August 24, Opus 216, a Cleveland-based chamber ensemble.
Additionally, the Lakeside Barbecue fundraiser is scheduled for August 13 to benefit community events, with $ 45 tickets available by calling 330-882-432, and Oktoberfest is scheduled for October 10 at noon. at 18 hours.
