April 8, from noon to 1 p.m. Luncheon at the Library with the Evanston Public Library for “Why Native Plants?” as part of its Climate Resilient Communities series. Register.
April 15, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Climate Coffee with Kumar Jensen, Head of Sustainability and Resilience, as he answers questions about CARP. This event will be broadcast live on Town of Evanston Facebook Page. Join via Zoom.
April 22, from noon to 1 p.m. Library Luncheon: “Resources Matter: Ways to Prevent Waste and Recycle Properly.” » Register.
- 10am-12pm. Celebration of the ecological center with family and social distance activities.
- 10am-12pm. Beach Cleanup with the Town of Evanston and Alliance for the Great Lakes:
- All day: self-organized neighborhood cleanups. Volunteers can pick up gloves and bin bags at the Evanston Eco Center or the Robert Crown Community Center between April 19 and 24.
