December 3-4:

Christmas Bazaar, 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road (Rt. 662) Amity Township, December 4, 9 am-11am Biscuits, candies, pies, apple balls, chow chow, fresh vegetables, crafts , soup, items for lunch, eat in or take away, Santa Claus workshop.

Friends of the Exeter Community Library Holiday Sale, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., 4565 Prestwick Drive, Township of Exeter. Wreaths, homemade cookies and crafts. The sale continues on December 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

December 3-5:

Christmas at Joanna, Historic Joanna Furnace Iron Works, 5 to 9 p.m., Furnace Road, near Morgantown. December 4 and 5, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A three-night, 19th-century Victorian family Christmas destination. Admission: $ 10, adults, children 12 and under, free. Three miles north of Morgantown on Route 10. Look for the signs and enter by turning onto Furnace Road. Parking is available on site and along Furnace Road. A well-lit and easily accessible parking area is located along Furnace Road. For the safety of visitors, all are invited to avoid parking along Route 10.

December 3

Boyertown Area Historical Society Holiday Tour, 4 to 9 p.m., 43 S. Chestnut St., Boyertown. The tour begins at the Boyertown Area Historical Society. Tickets cost $ 15. Advanced tickets at the Peppermint Candy store, Frecon Farms or online at BoyertownHistory.org. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at the Boyertown Area Historical Society (cash only).

December 4:

St. Thomas Church Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show, 8 am to 2 pm, 536 N. Main St., Bernville. Homemade crafts, doll clothes, handbags, ornaments, cards, cutlery, baked goods, sweets, cookies, jams, soup, egg sandwiches, hot dishes. Information: 610-488-6702 or [email protected]

Christmas Bazaar, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., St. Peter’s UCC Molltown, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township. A white elephant sale, craft vendors, and a wide variety of cookies are included.

St. Paul’s United Church Women’s Guild Christmas Bazaar, 9 am to 1 pm, 47 S. Whiteoak St., Kutztown. Christmas mice, take out, Christmas decorations and crafts, white elephants. Masks required.

The Daniel Boone Optimist Club Annual Holiday Crafts Show, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Coventry Shopping Center, 351 W. Schuylkill Road, North Coventry Township, Chester County. Handicrafts made by local artisans, food, refreshments and a popular raffle featuring items from artisans in attendance.

Free community contest, noon to 1 p.m., Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100, Barto. Coats, books, packed lunch and more.

Spring Valley Boutique, noon to 2 p.m., Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple. Park in the upper car park, a shop is installed in the gym. Most of the items in the store are free. Featured items vary by month (depending on donation) but frequently include: women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, etc. Anyone wishing to donate used items to this ministry can do so during store opening hours.

Muhlenberg Community Library Annual Holiday Open House, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 3612 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Polar Express miniature train, photo booth, story time, treat bags with crafts, cocoa and more. Free and open to all ages.

Chillin ‘on Main, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown. Building an Annual Better Boyertown Holiday Event offers an enchanting stroll down the town’s Main Street where the festively decorated shops offer unique gifts. In addition to craft and gift vendors, local businesses and nonprofits will be offering a variety of games, crafts, and activities for children and their families.

December 5:

Kutztown Community Library Holiday Tour, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., 70 Bieber Alley, Kutztown. With seven local and historic churches. Tickets are available at the library. Cost: $ 15 per person or two people can travel together for $ 25.

Daniel Boone Optimist Club annual community tree lighting, 5-7 p.m., Amity Community Park (near Daniel Boone Middle School parking lot). Rain / snow date December 12th. Santa, lights, hot chocolate, music and Christmas carols.

Strausstown Volunteer Fire Company Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Strausstown Community Campus, 50 East Ave., Strausstown. Full breakfast menu available. The profits go to the Devices Fund.

Cantata, 9:30 a.m. St. John Hill UCC., 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown. The choir and guests will perform the Cantata composed by Pepper Choplin, “The Christmas Heart”.

December 18-19:

The “Nutcracker” is back and in person after last year’s virtual performance on December 18 at 1 and 6 pm and December 19 at 2 pm, Scottish Rite Cathedral, 430 S. Seventh Ave., West Reading.
