Please come by the Crestview Minimax on Saturday, May 31 and purchase a reusable grocery tote bag. The bags say "Brentwood Elementary- Growing up with Crestview Minimax." We'll be selling the bags in front of the store from 10-6. Bags cost $4.00 each and portion of the funds collected will go towards replacing our school's broken and tattered gym equipment. Show your school pride when you shop, and help improve Brentwood Elementary and our environment, by purchasing Bulldog bags. See you Saturday! Thanks! --The Brentwood PTA

Brentwood To Go Green!
Submitted by Amy Cox
Brentwood Elementary is planning a greener year for 07-08. Our efforts include forming an after-school environmental club, reducing waste in the lunchroom, promoting maximum recycling in our school and community, and planning an Earth Day celebration in April.
You can help! We can make money to support our efforts from your old cell phones, ink jet cartridges, MP3 players, digital cameras, DVD movies, video games and batteries. These items can be dropped off in our collection box which is located near the main office across from the cafeteria. Any donations would be GREATLY appreciated!
Next, a word about paper recycling… there is a Balcones paper recycling bin located on the east side of our school (along Arroyo Seco.) If you use our bin to recycle your paper, that’s great! We only ask that you break-down any boxes you bring. Balcones only comes once a week to empty it and it fills up fast with boxes.
Thank you for your help & keep recycling!
