Upper Airport Blvd. Initiative Community Open House - May 9, 6-8pm

The goal of the Airport Boulevard redevelopment initiative is to set the stage for (1) redevelopment that aligns with community values; (2) reinvestment in public infrastructure; (3) private economic investment and joint partnerships; and (4) enhanced transportation options. So far, the community has said they want a vibrant corridor with distinct neighborhoods, restaurants and businesses with different options for getting around safely with or without a car. If you live, work, shop, play, study, invest, drive, walk, ride or belong on Airport Blvd., please join us at this Community Open House to view the latest illustrative vision map, proposed street designations, and bicycle and pedestrian connections. This Open House will provide an opportunity to give feedback to the project team before the draft community vision and form based code framework is presented to Council in June 2012.
