Imagine Austin feedback meeting - Oct. 5th

For the first time in a generation, Austin residents can plot the future of Austin... a future where Austin could have twice as many people living here in thirty years.

The Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan is the city's blueprint for the future - a plan that covers how we'll use land, how we'll get around, where we'll live, where we'll use our free time, and other elements that define the quality of life in our great city. The City of Austin is developing a plan now for the next 30 years.

Based on community input so far, the City has developed four different scenarios for how Austin could look in the future.

During September and October, come to a community forum in your area to review the scenarios and provide your thoughts. You can also review and provide comments online. For more details on the process, and how to get involved, visit www.ImagineAustin.net, call 3-1-1, or visit your local branch library, and ask about the Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan.

This is a great time to contribute, Austin! Help plan Austin's future...the future is what we make it!

Save the date for the third round of public input in Imagine Austin:

Tuesday, October 5, 5 - 8pm, Dell Jewish Community Center
